The layout of the apartment was designed so that the main living spaces would all benefited from outdoor space and the amazing city views.
On the entrance floor of the apartment there is a Master bedroom suite which incorporates a large en-suite bathroom (with a huge walk in shower as well as a separate bath) walk-in-wardrobe and extra length queen sized bespoke four-poster bed; a second bedroom which also has an extra length queen bed, cupboard and a desk; a third bedroom with two extra length single beds; and another bathroom.
Busy during weekdays and very quiet in the evenings, the CBD is not as 'manicured' as newer parts of the city, but it's certainly on that trajectory and improving by the day.
I'd recommend anybody book one of the many inner-city guided walking tours to get a full appreciation of the CBD.
Whilst the cafes and art galleries have always been around, the growth of the weekend farmers/flea markets, in the surrounding suburbs, over the past five years, makes it a great base for weekend excursions.
Neighbourgoods market (Braamfontein), Arts on Main (Maboneng) and 1fox (Fox street) are all 5-10 minutes away.
Old Joburg experience with BBQ and JACUZZI on a PRIVATE ROOF TERRACE, atop of Johannesburg's trendy CBD.
It's within a 9 or 10 block area that was originally modeled on neoclassical city centers. This is the oldest part of, what is actually a very young city. With the old bank and mining house HQ's, it was the ' Square Mile' of Southern Africa. The middle floor of the apartment has an open plan living area (with a fabulous woodburning stove), dining area (with a six-seater dining table) and gourmet kitchen with slate counters, bespoke handmade cabinetry and stainless steel Smeg appliances. All of which creates an amazing homely room to hang out in.
